Famous places in South Korea




First, we have Gyeongbokgung or in English, we call it Palace of Shining Happiness.”Gyeongbokgung is the first palace built during Joseon Dynasty. Gyeongbokgung, also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace was the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty and it is the largest palace among all the palaces in South Korea. Gyeongbokgung was the house of the king during Joseon Dynasty. 





Second, we have N Seoul TowerN Seoul Tower is a communication and observation tower located on Mt. Namsan. The tower has been a symbol of Seoul since it first opened to the public in 1980. From the top, the tower offers great views of the city. Visitors can enjoy its cultural space with various performances, movies, exhibitions as well as upscale restaurants and snack bars. The tower is frequented by the lovers for their ceremonial confession of foolproof love with padlocks. Surprisingly, the observation deck is decorated with over ten thousand ‘locks of love’ with about one addition each day.







Lastly, we have, Jeju Island. Jeju Island is the biggest island off the shore and the area of the island is 1833.2 km². Jeju Island was entirely created by volcanic eruption. Its landscape is dominated by Halla Mountain, the highest mountain in South Korea and 1,950 meter-high volcano. Jeju have developed  a culture and language that are different from those of mainland Korea, with many superstitions. Jeju Island have many beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and it is filled with natural resources.
